NEW YORK, November 12, 2012 – Gilt, the innovative online shopping destination, announced it will launch its first television campaign, starting today. The campaign will consist of two 30-second creative spots, which will air on national cable networks.
The first is a humorous spot, entitled "High Noon." It showcases two women in a tongue-in-cheek, high-fashion Western draw, both competing for a coveted pair of shoes set to go on sale on Gilt at noon EST.
The second spot, called "Taxi," features a stylish, tech-savvy young woman in a taxicab whose multiple outfit changes, ranging from daytime to evening wear, were all purchased during noontime sales on Gilt.
"Over the last five years Gilt has enjoyed tremendous growth and we are confident that this television campaign will drive continued brand awareness while providing entertainment for viewers," said Elizabeth Francis, Chief Marketing Officer, Gilt.
As a special addition, in conjunction with the TV launch, Gilt.com members will have access to a sale with merchandise inspired by the commercial by logging onto www.gilt.com/tv.
Both commercials will air on national cable networks including HGTV, Oxygen, TLC, Style, Logo, E! and Lifetime.
