Launches New Television Campaign

Spots to Air Nationally in the U.S. and Canada Inviting Members to "Make It Yours With Gilt"

New York, NY – March 28, 2014 –, the innovative online shopping destination, announced it will debut its new television campaign starting today, first launching digitally at as well as on YouTube and YouTube pre-roll ads, followed by national television spots that will air in the U.S. starting Monday, March 31, 2014. In addition, the television spots will air nationally in Canada beginning in early April. The campaign, titled "Make It Yours With Gilt," will feature two 30-second spots and a 15-second spot. Gilt members will also have the opportunity to shop women's and men's merchandise inspired by the commercials starting at noon ET today.

Following the success of the company's first TV campaign in November 2012, Gilt's newest commercials focus on the creative concept of "The Chase," which captures the thrill of shopping on Gilt via a mobile device to snag that coveted item at noon and make it yours.

The first 30-second spot features a Gilt member on a high-energy pursuit of a woman wearing the most coveted looks as they run through the city streets. The Gilt member then scores the sought-after items on her Gilt app as the clock strikes noon. With a simple tap on her phone, the woman's dress suddenly flies off – and onto the Gilt member.

The second spot features a male and female Gilt couple chasing a man and woman, and will debut later this spring, in addition to shorter 15-second cuts.

"We are thrilled to be launching our new television campaign which showcases Gilt's unique approach to online shopping in a fun and creative way, capturing the excitement that our members love about shopping on Gilt each day," said Elizabeth Francis, Chief Marketing Officer, "We found such great success with our first campaign, and as Gilt continues to grow internationally, we're excited to debut this campaign in Canada as well."

Berlin Cameron United, Gilt's creative agency of record, is once again the creative force behind the commercials, and well-respected media agency Ocean Media is the media-buying partner.

"We're very pleased with this second campaign for Gilt," says Berlin Cameron Chairman, Ewen Cameron. "We sought to showcase the genuine excitement and hunger of the Gilt customer on their quest to 'make it yours.' There's an unexpected twist at the end of the spot that speaks to the brand's own signature voice and humor. Style should be surprising."

Gilt currently ships to 180 countries around the world, making the shopping experience even more convenient for international members. To become a Gilt member and start shopping, log on to
