How blue are you
Opening tomorrow at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, “Into the Void, Full Powers” is a blue-period retrospective of inveterate artist and showman Yves Klein. If you learn only two things about this titan of mid-century art, let it be these: he invented (or, well, patented) the color International Klein Blue, and he often used naked women, sopping wet with his famous pigment, as paint brushes to daub his canvases (strangely, that is not innuendo).
