Iced Out, Lights Out

In case you missed it, last night Richard Chai christened his ice-castle of a pop-up shop beneath the Highline. Following the reign of Simon Spurr’s incredible temporary digs designed by Collective, the first in a five stage rotation of designers-in-residence organized by Architizer and the HL23 program, Chai’s chilly-willy igloo of a retail front, the fourth in the series, designed by design group Snarkitecture, will run for a week, before it too melts into the next comer. Thanks to Bruce Pask at T for keeping us on game.
