In case you’ve ever wondered how Levi’s, which has steadily been upping its hip quotient lately, would spec out a store in Malibu, check out these pics from Jay Carroll, who along with Gilt MANual contributor Mordechai Rubinstein has been helping to bring a dose of heritage cool to the classic American brand. The boutique offers a full range of the Levi’s vintage and main lines as well as merch from Pendleton, Billykirk, and a nicely curated selection of books. (Really, you’re nothing without a nicely curated selection of books these days.) This being Malibu, the store pays due deference to the area’s surf roots by stocking Sunova Surfboards and Katin boardshorts.
