Rose-Colored Glasses

Illesteva's ode to French romance.

It’s not quite February yet, but Valentine’s Day looms. And while it might already be too late to snag a table at your favorite restaurant, you’ve still got plenty of time, and choices, gift-wise. Illesteva, the German- and Italian-made eyewear brand designed by Jus Ske and Daniel Silberman, looked across the Atlantic for some assistance from the French. The label tapped graffiti artist and nightlife impresario Andre Saraiva to put his (literal) signature on an acetate, half-tortoiseshell pair of frames. Available at Colette and Opening Ceremony on a very limited run (eighty worldwide), the frames, $270, feature Andre’s etched profession of love to girlfriend Annabelle Dexter Jones.
