Last fall, during fashion shows and presentations, we were inundated with an array of colorful footwear. From electric blue suede oxfords to paint-dipped, cap-toe canvas sneakers, spring 2011 is going to look bright on the ground. But, as much as I’m looking forward to sporting greens and yellows on my feet, I’ll always keep black, brown, and white in heavy rotation. Specifically, in the form of brogues, oxfords, and lace-up canvas sneakers. These full wingtips from Florsheim by Duckie Brown, in black perforated leather, can fill that brogue category nicely (which is essential) and do all those key things like bridge casual and formal and go with everything. Plus, green chinos and yellow shoes makes you look like a Sprite can. For the record, not a good thing.
