As part of our ever-expanding quest to take you inside the minds of the men shaping the way we dress, the editors of Gilt MAN invite you to join us at the SoHo Apple Store tonight at 7:00 pm. No, we won’t be unveiling a “game-changing men’s style app” (that comes later!). But I will get a chance to interview two guys on the leading edge of fashion and technology: Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs of the supremely stylish, much-talked-about blog Street Etiquette. The pair will discuss their origins and inspirations, and premiere a brand new video project called “Sartorial Sounds.” I’ll also be grilling them for vintage- and thrift-store shopping tips, and may even try to sign them up for another Street Etiquette-curated Gilt sale (the first one looked amazing and sold out ridiculously fast, so why the hell not?). We’ve got itchy trigger fingers when it comes to the Twitpics, so show up looking your sharpest.
Meet the Creators: Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs of Street Etiquette. Friday, February 25, 7 p.m. Apple Store, SoHo, 103 Prince Street, N.Y.C.
