Mister Meyers visits the Kelly Ripa show in New York

Today’s Lesson: Spring is here and a great way to embrace the longer days is the unlined or half-lined light wool (or cotton) suit. As Mr. Meyers shows us here, a crispy white shirt, repp tie and some lighter grooming are the perfect compliments for your new suit and will look as sharp at night as they do in the welcome sunshine.

Is it just me or is there too much blue? I don’t think the tie should match the suit…ever.

  2. Evan says:

i’d love any suggestion of an unlined/half lined light wool or cotton suit that can be worn in spring/summer in the office or out to weddings and such. i’ve been on the hunt and can’t find any good ones in the $500-$600 range. do they exist?

  3. Christopher says:

Hiya Evan. Around these parts we’re really big fans of the hundred year old Mantua-based house Lubiam, whose LBM 1911 line will be on sale at Gilt MAN Monday, May 9th. For the next tier up in price, you kinda can’t go wrong with Brunello Cucinelli. Brooks Brothers does some great cotton suits.
