During last January’s Pitti Uomo in Florence, I received several emails and texts from my colleague Josh Peskowitz, most of which centered around the plethora of unstructured blazers on display, particularly from L.B.M. 1911. While I eagerly await this fall’s burgundies and grays, it’s the unlined, unstructured blazers (of varying stripes, and colors) from the Italian label that I’ve got my eye on at the present. In particular, this blue double breasted version. It’s a beautifully versatile piece, paired with a tee or button front, that adds an easy formality to a sometimes sloppy season. Bonus points for the mother of pearl buttons.
