Agenda Item: 'Dead Man' Gets Its Due

William Blake: poet, painter, accountant, dead man.

Keeping up on the cultural front can be a daunting task, especially when every new week seems to bring with it another bestseller, chart-topper, Oscar contender, or must-see. Thankfully, the well-rounded gentlemen over at Park & Bond have your weekly Agenda covered, with their curated picks from the cultural landscape.

Here at MANual—where we enjoy all things slimmed down—we present a new weekly series dedicated to our favorite Park & Bond selection for the days ahead: This week, Jim Jarmusch’s hallucinatory, and seriously slept-on, Dead Man finally gets the Blu-ray treatment. The black and white Western features Johnny Depp as an on-the-run (from Robert Mitchum) accountant getting the Virgil treatment from a Native American named “Nobody.” Weird? Definitely. Worth owning? Absolutely.
