Last night in Paris, Drake played a concert at Palais Omnisports de Bercy, a stadium on the banks of the Seine, where Rick Owens, Dior Homme, and other top designers often show their collections during the men’s week. We know that he nailed his performance thanks to Instagram — it’s Paris Fashion Week right now for the ladies, and many of our womenswear-inclined friends were in attendance and
humble bragging posting multiple videos from the show.
Highlights include Rihanna jumping up on stage during the pair’s 2011 hit duet Take Care, and Drake’s white on white get-up for the occasion. It’s no secret that the white on white look is heating up for Spring, and that it’s not the easiest outfit to pull off in style. Below, some tips for nailing the most luxurious look of all, taking cues from our favorite Torontonian:
1. Keep it pristine or rough it up — either respect the fact you’re wearing white on white and tread delicately, or be a man about it and don’t be afraid to get dirty.
2. Do as Drake does and keep the pants slim-straight, but never restrictive. Skin-tight white is a little on the Bieber side of things.
3. Wear different textures to break it up — a cotton tee on top, denim on the bottom, works best.
Bonus: Make sure your tan’s on point; oh, and dance on stage with Rihanna for the ultimate validation that your white on white look is paying dividends.
