Since moving to New York 12 years ago, Brazilian born Luigi Tadini has worked a number of killer jobs, including market director at Paper Magazine, and Director of Creative Strategy at BMF Media, where he currently sits. But all vocational success aside, Luigi is just a hell of a well-dressed dude. He’s a streetstyle photographer’s dream, he wears color with panache, and don’t even get us started on that hair. His philosophy is simple, literally: “Simple is always better. Nothing beats a perfectly tailored suit or a fitted pair of blue jeans.” Speaking of which, he’s a big fan of the masculine hue. “Blue is genuinely my favorite color,” he says. “It’s my black. 50% of my closet is in some hue of blue — 50 shades of blue. I’m in jeans or a chambray shirt almost year around; it’s like a uniform. I love mixing different tonalities, textures and washes. It’s a color that bleeds very differently depending on the fabric so it’s quite versatile.” We couldn’t agree more. Here, the man shows us how it’s done.
