Army Surplus

An original U.S. WWII 1944 Model 53 Airborne Motor Scooter, anybody? Fully restored, of course.

With Father’s Day fast approaching, we’ve got a slew of homme-appropriate sales to pique the interest of every red-blooded American Dad. Case in point, our current collaborative effort with International Military Antiques, the number one name in, ahem, international military antiques. Fruits of their labor include a Prussian helmet and breastplate of the Garde du Corps, a U.S. WWII army field telephone that actually works, not to mention a Swedish map and document case from WWII which perfectly fits an iPad — you know, just in case practicality is of the essence.

The gents behind IMA are no strangers to the screen (they’ve been featured in their own National Geographic Channel show, and sourced props for “Saving Private Ryan” and HBO’s “Band of Brothers,” among others), so we sent a camera crew, and Tyler Thoreson, our VP of Editorial & Creative for Men’s and Home, over to check out the merch.

Shop the sale on Gilt, but before you do, watch the clip below.
