Tip #1 Go bold with accessories.  The funky blue glass table lamps in the master bedroom and happy green throws in the living room get noticed, but don’t detract. 

Tip #2 Look down.  Rugs with geometric patterns give the living room rich texture.  Notice how it jives with the oversize black-and-white photography.

Tip #3 Update classic mid-century furniture with unusual fabrics like the blue cowhide on the Le Corbusier armchairs. (see above)

Tip #4 Zebra pillows are timeless and brighten any room. 

Tip #5 Deep, dark accent walls like the ones in the dining room and playroom highlight the architecture and bring a depth and coziness to the space.  By using white floor lamps in front of these dark walls, they pop and become super sculptural. (see above)

Tip #6 Group white ceramic vases of different shapes and sizes on your dining room table.  They work as a year-round centerpiece with or without flowers.
