Desiron's chic yet down-to-earth dining tables, benches, beds, and other custom-made items represent the sort of “real furniture” that’s so hard to come by these days. Desiron was founded in 1997 by Frank Cafaro — a third generation ironsmith from Tewksbury, NJ whose passions include snowboarding, travel, and, of course, good design. In its first decade the company enjoyed tremendous success — even creating designs for New York's Setai hotel, Mercedes-Benz, and American Express. Today, in tandem with D Gallery — an extension ofits SoHo showroom, which is dedicated to showcasing American art and design — Desiron continues its commitment to creating top-notch, forward-thinking furnishings, right here in the U.S.A.
