There’s no better designer than Mother Nature. And what she creates, NYC-based designer Michael Aram interprets in his graceful objects for the home, handcrafted in cast metals like stainless steel and oxidized bronze, as well as natural elements like black granite and acacia wood.

During a journey to India almost two decades ago, Aram (now a part-time New Delhi resident) was drawn to the artistry of the country’s craftsmen. He was inspired to create pieces that translated the shimmering lines of a flower petal, the jagged beauty of coral, and the elegantly curved horn of an impala into objects with a bit of practical magic, including cocktail accessories, serving trays, furniture, and lighting.
