The brand’s legacy began in 1953, when newlyweds Ottavio and Rosita Missoni set up a small knitwear workshop in the basement of their home in Italy. What started with just two knitting machines and a colorful zigzag pattern quickly grew into a global fashion dynasty. 

Today, the family-run company has expanded well past fashion—namely, everything from fragrances and bicycles to a hotel chain. And it’s recently sharpened its focus on interior design, offering everything from throw pillows to bed linens and tabletop items, all of which exemplify the brand’s penchant for bold color and punchy patterns.
