Design and choice of materials give Jamie Young's inspired collection of furnishings, textiles, and lighting a real Americana feel. There’s something rustic and handcrafted about them, an aesthetic that connects them to a bygone era and place.
Artists Jamie Young and David Jeter credit a 1997 daytrip to Mexico with helping launch their thriving company. While south of the border, they purchased a trunk load’s worth of gardening pots from a roadside stand, and then promptly resold the lot to their neighborhood flower shop; that experience inspired the couple to manufacture their own line of rustic, culturally influenced wares and, eventually, open an L.A.-based showroom. Today the company supplies beautiful pieces, from table lamps to occasional furniture to jewelry, to stores throughout the country and luxurious hotel chains around the world.
