The design firm ilio finds inspiration in natural forms: icicles, lily pads, and drops of mercury shape the distinct, minimalist lines of their glassware, accessories, and furniture. By double-firing their ceramics and using lead-free, crystalline glass, the firm pays homage to the traditional arts of ceramics and glassmaking. ilio is the home line of the much-lauded firm Demirden Design, which is based in Istanbul.
