Backstory
When interior designers land in Chicago, chances are that they immediately make a beeline to Jayson Home. Opened in 1997 by Jay Goltz and Caroline Scheeler, the eclectic shop is the city’s preeminent design destination, a place to score vintage and antique finds from suzani throws to French sconces to Asian cabinets. The company also produces its own line of upholstered furnishings and case goods, masterfully updating classic shapes for pieces that fit in both traditional and modern settings.
