Matteo Bedding & Bath

An easy sophistication pervades this California–based company's bedding and bath linens. The color palette (black, white, neutrals, and an exclusive-to-Gilt sky-blue hue) is classic, and great for guys and gals alike. Their garment-dyeing technique means no two are exactly the same, and all have a nice vintage feel. And all are made here in the U.S.A., in an L.A. workshop adjacent to the company’s design studio. In this sale, you’ll find Matteo’s wildly popular mainstays — the “Nap” line of solid cotton bedding, and the “Black Tick,” featuring a striped motif — but there’s plenty beyond that, like channel-quilted duvets, ultra-soft throws, bath towels, and decorative pillows.

Backstory

Transform your bedroom from a utilitarian space into a super-chic oasis with Matteo's fantastic linens. Founded in 1996 by Matthew Lenoci, the Los Angeles company specializes in a masculine, modern sensibility evident in every piece. The color palette is smoky and serene — lots of grays, browns, and blues in faded tones — and the fabrics are top-of-the-line. Sheets, throws, towels, duvets and blankets come in garment-washed linen, alpaca, cashmere and 100 percent Egyptian cotton; they're made in Lenoci’s L.A. workshop and feature pin tucks, borders, and piping. With this bedding you can expect the most beautiful — and luxurious — night’s sleep you’ve ever had.
