The perfect finishing touch for a room, Missoni’s pillows and poufs are rife with personality. Just a few scattered about will give your space oh-so-Italian flair.
The Missoni legacy began in 1953, when newlyweds Ottavio and Rosita Missoni set up a small knitwear workshop in the basement of their home in Italy. What began as just two knitting machines and a colorful zigzag pattern quickly grew into a global fashion dynasty. Today, aside from its clothing lines (including its younger-skewed collection, M Missoni), the family-run company offers a line of luxury goods ranging from pillows and perfumes to tabletop items and linens. It also is developing a chain of lifestyle hotels in partnership with Rezidor Hotel Group; the first, Missoni Hotel Edinburgh, opened in the Scottish city in 2009.
