Founded more than a century ago in Venice, Italy, Sferra is synonymous with luxury linens. The company may be best known for its 100 percent Egyptian cotton sheets, duvets, and pillows, offered in rich solids and traditional prints. But it also makes sumptuous robes, festive tablecloths, and playful baby blankets. Keeping up with the times, it recently launched a contemporary bedding line, 1891 by Sferra, which specializes in sophisticated whimsy: Think stripes mixed with floral prints and bold doses of color.
