Bee Line
Billionaire Boys Club launched in 2005, when Pharrell Williams — former N.E.R.D. and one of hip-hop’s greatest producers — partnered with his manager Robert Walker and Japanese fashion icon Nigo (of A Bathing Ape fame) to create a line of clothing. The result? High-end, luxury sportswear that blends forward-thinking style with classic inspiration. The brand is credited with the introduction of the all-over print sweatshirt — no small achievement, considering how popular the style became — but, much like the men at the helm, wasn’t content to stay in one place. It’s since moved on to a more refined aesthetic, punctuated with bold graphics, vibrant colors, and irreverent designs that take their cues from Japanese streetwear, vintage Americana, and a whole host of other influences. And in an effort to push that ideal forward, Williams partnered with Mark McNairy (no stranger himself to irreverent, high-end streetwear-inspired designs) to create an extension of the BBC collection aptly named Bee Line.
