Description
Fresh young burdock root (gobo, in Japanese) is mildly sweet, and a prized ingredient in the Asian kitchen. Food Connect’s gobo is grown in Japanese fields and is harvested when it is young and tender enough to eat raw. It’s in its glory, however, when it’s cooked in braises of meat and poultry, in a hearty vegetable soup, or nestled inside dumplings.
