Restaurant Editor Tejal Rao went through an “obsessive paprika phase” in which she sprinkled the dried, smoked pepper powder on roast potatoes and cauliflower, scrambled eggs and even bacon, to make it smokier. She loves the fine grain of Whole Spice’s paprika, which is ground to order. This delicately sweet paprika is wonderful sprinkled on deviled eggs or chicken, paella or white sauces.
