Legendary footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti hails from a small town not far from Rimini, an Italian seaside resort destination also renowned for its cobbling history. Fascinated by shoes from an early age, Zanotti embarked upon a career in fashion and women's footwear after spending the 1980s as a club DJ. After gaining experience at Missoni, Dior and other top fashion houses, Zanotti bought his own shoe factory in the 1990s and began producing the sexy stiletto heels, bejeweled booties, silvery sneakers, and strappy sandals that have made him a favorite among celebs (guess who makes Lady Gaga’s mile-high, heel-less platform wedges) and trendsetters worldwide. In addition to women's shoes, Zanotti also designs the men's label Giuseppe Homme and accessories ranging from precious-metal jewelry and studded purses to crystal-accented iPhone covers and leather iPad cases.
