Winter weather is about to be a thing of the past, and if you're ready to be rid of your heavy boots and tights — you're in luck! Gear up for spring with our curated collection of sunny-weather shoes. From luxe neutral wedges and colorblocked sandals to capped ballet flats and sleek patent pumps, there's something to polish off your look for errands, brunch, and walks in the park.
Born and raised in Chicago, Brian Atwood traveled the world before setting up shop in New York City, where he would go on to make his name as a shoe designer to the stars. After graduating from FIT, Atwood moved to Europe, where he spent the next near-decade working as a male model and making the connections that would eventually land him a plum gig as the head accessories designer at Versace. There, he worked honing his craft for the next nine years until he was ready to embark on his own. In 2001, he launched the first line of Brian Atwood shoes, and in no time the styles started popping up all over the red carpet (flattering the legs of celebs like J.Lo, Melissa McCarthy, and Michelle Trachtenburg). In 2012, Atwood launched his first line of luxe handbags and minaudières, for sale exclusively on Gilt.com.
