Gilt currently offers $9.95* (flat rate) shipping on all orders.

      * On a limited amount of orders, the shipping cost exceeds the amount Gilt can subsidize. In these situations, the customer will bear the full cost of shipping.

    5. What Is Your Return/Exchange Policy for International Orders?

What Is Your Return/Exchange Policy for International Orders?

At this time, Gilt is unable to accept returns from international countries, except Canada and countries in the EU. Obviously, if your item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will make every effort to remedy the situation.

      For the Canadian return policy:
Gilt is now able to take returns on select items under $200 USD. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the item's shipment from Gilt's distribution center. Canadian customers should look to the item's product detail page or their order history to determine if an item is returnable.

      For the EU return policy:
If shipped to the EU, items are returnable for up to 14 days after receipt. Customers will be refunded for all payments made less the direct costs of returning the good(s). EU customers should look to the item's product detail page or their order history to determine if an item is returnable.

If you have an item that is eligible for return and would like to make a return, contact International Customer Support ([email protected]). Provided your item is eligible, a customer service representative will e-mail you a packing slip which you must print and include in the package with your return. Gilt cannot accept returns without this packing slip. Customers bear all shipping costs associated with the return and full responsibility for the item until it reaches Gilt's distribution center. Once the item and its packing slip arrives in the Gilt warehouse, our e-commerce partner, Borderfree, will provide you with a refund of the original merchandise price and any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order within 7 days.

    6. How is sales TAX/VAT and duties calculated?

How is sales TAX/VAT and duties calculated?

Commodity taxes (duty, TAX, VAT) are determined by the destination country customs authority. Gilt is currently obligated to collect commodity taxes on all applicable orders. For select countries we build any applicable duties and taxes into the price of the item. For other countries these values are calculated at check out. Our shipping partner coordinates with authorities in your country when your items arrive at the border to ensure the packages legally enter. In some cases this may mean the shipping partner or a related party reaches out to you to obtain relevant information, like your ID number.

Please find your country here to determine whether duties and taxes are included in your price or if they will be included at check out.
