About Luigi Bianchi Mantova

In 1898, 16-year-old Luigi Bianchi set off from the Italian province of Mantova bound for Turin, the storied capital of northern Italy's tradition of master tailoring. By 1911, he’d founded his own label — now known as Lubiam — and began designing luxury men’s clothing. Bianchi's company remains a family affair, but has evolved from a single line into a tailoring house with two distinct imprints: the casual-cool LBM 1911, and a more classically minded offering aptly titled Luigi Bianchi Mantova. Blending exquisite fabrics and expert fabrication with razor-sharp cuts, the company’s clothing includes canvassed suits, impeccable coats and blazers, and sportswear made to last. One day you might pass your Luigi Bianchi Mantova linen and wool jackets down to your sons — that is, if you can bear to part with them.

Celebrate in Style

Bon Appétit editor-in-chief Adam Rapoport knows how to play host with style, and with holiday party season in full swing, we asked him to invite a few of his dapper pals to dinner at Aska in Brooklyn — the only NYC restaurant to make the magazine's 2013 Hot 10 List — to show us how it's done. The secret, says the former GQ style editor, is to "wear something you'd never wear to the office. Like a bowtie. Or plaid pants. A velvet jacket. SOMETHING." Check out the photos of Adam and his guests — who are kitted out in some of our finest holiday party gear — then shop our picks below to get your holiday look in order. What's more, a portion of the proceeds go to Edible Schoolyard NYC.

Patterned Neckwear

Back in the day, a well-chosen necktie was a gentlemanly must-have. Well, guess what: It still is, although the reasoning behind the requirement has changed. Now, it's not about following the herd, but standing out from it, and this sale has plenty of stylishly irreverent ways to stand out, from updated takes on the classic silk tie to that preppy standby, the bowtie. However you wear yours, just make sure you pair it with a healthy dose of attitude. After all, bucking the office-casual trend makes you a veritable fashion rebel.
