About ncLA

Belgian-born entrepreneur Elin Dannerstedt founded ncLA in 2010 to provide a glamorous DIY nail art option for free-thinking fashionistas. It didn’t take long before ncLA’s abstract art-inspired adhesive nail wraps and cruelty- and toxin-free lacquer appeared on the nails of magazine cover models and celebs such as Beyoncé (a fan of the orange-hued “I’m With the Band”) and Kelly Osbourne. Inspired by the culture and vibe of its native Los Angeles, ncLA’s irreverently named, chip-resistant polish line features colors ranging from red (Rodeo Drive Royalty, Rush Hour) and lilac (Pick Me Up at Melrose Place) to black (Hollywood and Vine starlet) and metallic (Bel Air Trophy Wife). Since its founding, ncLA has collaborated with Glamour, designer Melody Ehsani, and celebrity nail stylists Jenna Hipp, Madeline Poole and Steph Stone on brilliantly colorful polishes that are both stylish and long-lasting.
